Commencing this evening (14), the Railway Department initiated the online reservation for all train seats. This comprehensive arrangement extends to both standard seat bookings and warrant reservations.
Reservations could be made via www.seatreservation.railway.gov.lk or phone bookings via Mobitel, Hutch, Airtel on 365 & Dialog on 444 & Telecom networks on 1265. Passengers also have the option to make reservations conveniently through the Sri Lanka Railways Reservation mobile application as highlighted by the President’s Media Division (PMD).
This new online booking system represents a significant advancement in providing a user-friendly and efficient means for travelers to secure their seats on Sri Lanka’s railway network.
