Abeykoon broke the 100m South Asia record at the International Athletics Meeting Anhalt 2022 in Germany.
Kenyan sprint sensation Ferdinand Omanyala came second, losing his first 100m race of the year.
Omanyala clocked 10.14secs at the Paul Greifzu Stadium in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany on Wednesday night.
